After obtaining the import permit, if change of arrival date or the port of entry is intended, please file an application for the change before the import permit expires or at least 10 days prior to arrival, whichever comes first. Violation against this rule for not obtaining a renewed import permit is subject to a NT$30,000-NT$150,000 fine, according to subparagraph 12 of Article 45 of the 'Statute for Prevention and Control of Infectious Animal Disease'. For not applying for the rearrangment of a quarantine space is subject to, an additional NT$30,000-NT$150,000 fine.
